Feeding picky kids can get tricky at times. Finding the right things to fuel their brains and fill them up while at school can be challenging. I usually send them with simple, easy to eat lunches that they enjoy. Most of the time they finish their lunches, but some days they eat a minimum amount and snack on the rest at home while doing their homework.

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is the main item I send as both of my school kids will eat it without complaint. For sides I like to send items such as string cheese, roasted nuts, nutella with pretzels, pringles, applesauce, and puddings. I allow the kids to choose their sides so I know they’re willing to eat what I send each day.
I like to pack their lunches in split, sealed containers so their food items don’t mix together. If you have kids, you probably know exactly what I mean when I say they will throw a fit about anything getting mixed together. I do my best to keep it all separated and in easy open containers and packages so they can quickly eat before their lunch time is up.
